Not necessarily a museum piece, s till way better looking than average for its age. To me those flaws in appearance are not bad at all. You also can see some roughness on the valve block probably from rings worn by a player or possibly from acid of a player's hand. The photos show a small dent at the bottom just beyond the bell turn and some claw marks at the lead pipe brace by the mouthpiece receiver. I had a skilled tech finish up that job and now only close examination can detect evidence of that repair. When I acquired it there had been some not so great dent work done at the bell flare.
I've test played it and rate it outstanding in the way it plays. Hand polished to a brilliant luster, given new valve corks and felts and new water key corks.
